Sponsoring a Hafiz student for Quran memorization is perpetual charity, bringing blessings for the sponsor throughout the student’s life and beyond.

Sponsoring a Hafiz student is one of the best form of Sadaqah Jariyah. A sponsor will receive Allah’s blessings so long as the hafiz remains alive. If the hafiz has passed on his Quran before his death, then the rewards continue through the channel of his students.
Allah has conferred a great favour upon this Ummah by allowing His servants to memorize the Noble Qur’an. Previous Umam were unable to memorize their scriptures, yet millions of Muslims, young and old, boys & girls have memorized the Qur’an – and will continue to do so until the Last Day, Insha’Allah.
“The one who recites the Quran and memorizes it, for him there is a crown on the Day of Judgment, its illumination is like the illumination of the sun, and he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. Hifz e Quran, also known as Quranic memorization, is the practice of memorizing the entire Quran, word for word. Quran Hifz allows individuals to understand the meaning of the Quran and the context in which it was revealed. Additionally, by memorizing the Quran, one can be more engaged in the Salah (prayer), as one will be able to follow along in the prayer and recite from memory. This can increase the concentration and khushu (humility) in the prayer and make it more meaningful. Overall, the spiritual benefits of Quran Hifz are numerous and can have a profound impact on one’s life and relationship with Allah. Quran Hifz can bring people together and help to build stronger communities. The act of memorizing and reciting the Quran is often done in groups, such as at a mosque or with a study group. Quran Hifz can also create positive role models and leaders within a community. Those kids or adults who have memorized the Quran are often looked up to and respected for their dedication and commitment to the practice. Jamia Islamia Ishaatul Uloom Akkalkuwa aims at to form a righteous and pious society and its basic need is Education where Jamia is working into two different ways:
1: Religious education as main subject as well as modern education with it.
2: Modern education as main subject and religious education with it.
Religious & Spiritual education is essential with the spirit of moral training and sincere social service along with regular modern education; therefore, a good number of students are affiliated with the Jamia’s education program. Jamia offering education opportunity those in need to learn basic Deen, memorize Quran and get advance Islamic education.
There are four departments of religious education:
Diniyaat, Hifz -e-Quran, Aalim & Fazil along with Specialized Courses (Ifta, Arabic Adab & Dawah)
Hifz-e-Quran: The Holy Quran is memorized by the students with intonation.
Jamia has a separate department for Hifz e Quran that was established in 1980. Today, 3230 students are memorising the Quran under the supervision of 116 qualified & experienced teachers. In 2022, 461 students completed the Hafiz Course, and 10458 students have completed the course since its inception. Apart from this, thousands of students are memorising the Holy Quran in 83 rural branches of Jamia Akkalkuwa.
We are seeking sponsorship for 100 poor students whose families cannot afford expenses of food, teachers, clothes, health care & boarding, etc. Sponsoring a Hifz e Quran student is one of the best forms of Sadaqah Jariah (perpetual charity), and it will also help them realise their ambitions in nation building & community development. The Hafiz sponsorship will yield long-term fruits for the whole Ummah. Jamia hopes that young students, supported by you, can become future teachers of the Quran and carriers of the truth.
We will provide progress report of sponsored child to the generous donors annually.
